To organize and conduct golf tournaments in a manner to represent SAMA and its members in a positive way: Enhancing member interaction; Provide a profit center to support the many programs within SAMA.

The Banquet Committee goal is to enhance and improve the interaction of members by creating a fulfilling experience with entertainment for members and spouses.

Provide a forum for the manufacturing community in the greater San Antonio area show casing their products and capabilities to purchasing decision makers; to provide vendors offering goods and services to the manufacturing community with an opportunity to present their capabilities.

To assure that electric and natural gas rates and their application for the commercial and industrial consumers: Are fair and equitable; not subject to subsidies; and reflect cost of service. To assure that energy is supplied in a cost effective and environmentally responsible manner. Provide assistance to member companies as needed to assure their access to cost effective energy efficiency and savings.

To empower the San Antonio manufacturing community by improving its environmental performance; Provide input into the local, state and federal environmental rulemaking process from the perspective of the San Antonio manufacturing community.

The SAMA Marketing Communications Committee was established to evaluate the current internal and external communication needs of SAMA and to develop and implement a plan to assist in meeting those needs. The scope of committee work includes the creation of strategies and products to foster awareness of SAMA's mission, services and direction; to foster good internal exchange of information; and to advocate technology as a primary delivery communications tool. Conduct internal and external communications utilizing all forms of multi-media to inform the membership, elected and appointed officials, and the general public of the SAMA resources, actions and opportunities.

The mission of the Membership Committee is to help meet the needs of our members and to help ensure that the membership of the San Antonio Manufacturers Association continues to grow as well as maintain the retention of the existing membership.  This committee also is responsible for welcoming new SAMA members and soliciting member’s involvement and input for our activities and initiatives.

To enhance and improve the interaction of members by: Creating meaningful and worthwhile programs benefiting members (attendees) and SAMA financially, and establishing a monthly forum (luncheon) where interesting relative topics can be heard in a setting designed to create networking opportunities for all members.

To empower the San Antonio manufacturing community by improving its knowledge of water & wastewater resources; Provide input into the state and local rulemaking process from the perspective of the San Antonio manufacturing community.
