Get ready to roll and strike up some fun for an incredible cause at the 2026 SAMA Annual Bowling Tournament!
This fun-filled event benefits the SAMA Educational Fund, which directly supports the Ray Chavez Scholarships for Advanced Manufacturing students at the Alamo Academies of the Alamo Colleges District. These scholarships help students pursuing careers in the manufacturing industry and support the next generation of manufacturing leaders.
Whether you're a competitive bowler or just in it for the love of the game, we offer team options for everyone.
Beyond the lanes, this tournament provides a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of emerging talent while enjoying friendly competition, networking, and camaraderie among industry peers.

TEAM OPTIONS: (Note: If you do not know your team name or players yet please enter TBD)

Competitive Division: In this division, at least 4 out of 5 bowlers on a team must have an established average.

Fun Division (No-Tap): No averages are required in this division, making it perfect for those looking for a more relaxed bowling experience. There's no handicap used, and the 9-pin "No-Tap" scoring rule will be in effect.
Limited Availability: Only 44 teams can join the tournament, so make sure to secure your spot early!

Individual Entry: $100 (You will be grouped into teams)

TEAM REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES - 3 hours of bowling & shoes, Lunch & non-alcoholic beverages, Opportunity to win prizes & entry into side-pot games.
CONTESTS & PRIZES:
- 1st Place: Team Trophy and $500 (Each player receives $100). Open to both Competitive with Handicap & Fun with No-Tap divisions, plus the ultimate bragging rights!
- 2nd Place: $250 (Each player receives $50). Available for both Competitive & Fun with No-Tap divisions.
- 3rd Place: $100 (Each player receives $20). Applies to both Competitive & Fun with No-Tap divisions.
- Award for Best Dressed Team!
TOURNAMENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
- Presenting & Award Sponsor: $3,500. This package includes two teams of 5, an opportunity to speak and present awards during the ceremony, recognition & signage at the event and on each lane, acknowledgment in email and social media blasts, and recognition by SAMA President and Bowling Chair.
- Lunch & Snack Sponsor: $2,250 This sponsorship entails one team of 5, recognition & signage at the event and on each lane, acknowledgment in email and social media blasts, and recognition by SAMA President and Bowling Chair.
