National Manufacturing Day is an annual celebration designed to showcase the exciting world of modern manufacturing, highlight career opportunities, and inspire the next generation of our manufacturing workforce.
Join SAMA on Friday, October 2, 2026, for a FREE EVENT at the Toyota Texas Experience Center as we celebrate Manufacturing Day and highlight the people, innovation and workforce programs that keep manufacturing moving forward in our region.
The newly renovated Toyota Texas Experience Center brings advanced manufacturing to life for the community. The 14,000-square-foot space now features hands-on interactive exhibits, video stories from team members, an illuminated 3D campus map, and a timeline of Toyota’s history, showing how Tundras and Sequoias are built, the only place in the world where these models roll off the line.

PLEASE NOTE: The Toyota Texas Experience Center and the Toyota Manufacturing Plant are separate facilities.
The SAMA Manufacturing Day Open House will take place at the Toyota Texas Experience Center, which is open to the public and provides an interactive look at Toyota, advanced manufacturing and the vehicles produced here in San Antonio.
Your Open House registration is for the Toyota Texas Experience Center only. Access to the Toyota Manufacturing Plant is available through the optional Tram Tours described below.
TOYOTA TRAM TOURS️
For those who would like to experience Toyota's manufacturing operations firsthand, attendees may also reserve a spot through the registration process on one of two Toyota Manufacturing Plant Tram Tours:
8:00 AM Tram Tour — Limited to 40 guests
11:30 AM Tram Tour — Limited to 40 guests
The Tram Tours take place at the Toyota Manufacturing Plant and are separate from the Manufacturing Day Open House at the Experience Center. (*The tours depart from the Experience Center.)
Tram tour reservations are first come, first served, and each registrant may reserve a maximum of two tour spots. To reserve a tour, simply select your preferred Tram Tour as an add-on during your Manufacturing Day registration.
Important: Selecting a Tram Tour add-on reserves your requested spot(s). Because space is extremely limited, please only reserve a tour if you plan to attend. SAMA will provide the final tour lists directly to Toyota.
