Doug Carlberg Bio
President of The Carlberg Consultant Group LLC (CCG) Doug Carlberg has over 40 years of experience in operational excellence in the electronics, aerospace, and defense industries. His areas of expertise include directing all lean aspects of product development, production, supply chain management, sales, and customer service. Prior to CCG, Doug was President/CEO of M2 Global Technology Ltd a small service-disabled veteran owned aerospace company. Previously, he held leadership positions with General Electric Company, Hughes Aircraft, Tracor Aerospace. and Harris Corporation. Doug served 28 years in the USARMY active and reserves, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW4).
Doug has served on the national board for The Association of Manufacturing Excellence (AME) and the Utah State University Shingo Institute (Shingo Prize) advisory board. He has also served on the Industrial engineering advisory boards at Arizona State, Virgina Tech Universities and Texas A&M University's San Antonio School of Business. The organizations Doug led have received numerous awards including the AME Manufacturing Excellence Award, the Shingo Prize, Texas Manufacturing Star Award, Texas Business of the Year Award, Industry Week ‘s Best Plants in North America. and The National SBA Small Government Supplier of the Year.
