Richard Saucedo

Mr. Richard Saucedo is the Owner and President of RISK5 Compliance Group, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. He brings more than 26 years of experience in safety management, loss prevention, and risk control, complemented by over 15 years of experience in engineering design and project management supporting manufacturing operations, school districts, and power generation facilities.
Prior to founding RISK5 Compliance Group, Mr. Saucedo held senior leadership positions with several prominent organizations, including North East Independent School District (NEISD), Travelers, and Frost Insurance, where he served as Vice President of Risk Control. In these roles, he collaborated closely with clients to enhance risk management strategies through the development and implementation of innovative programs and targeted training initiatives. His leadership consistently delivered measurable results, including reductions in Workers’ Compensation losses exceeding 50 percent. He also successfully managed Owner-Controlled and Rolling Owner-Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP/ROCIP) with total project values exceeding $1.2 billion.
Throughout his career, Mr. Saucedo has provided risk management advisory services to a diverse range of organizations, including Toyota Motor Manufacturing, general contractors, subcontractors, manufacturing facilities, medical facilities, and public school districts.
Mr. Saucedo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology of Organizational Development, with a minor in Information Systems, from the University of the Incarnate Word, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from San Antonio College. His professional credentials include Licensed Property and Casualty Agent, OSHA-Authorized Outreach Trainer, EM385 Military standards, EEO Specialist and Texas Risk Insurance Specialist.
